Mary Ann Cobbins, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, is the devoted wife of Sr. Pastor Tony D. Cobbins and the First Lady of Canaan Worship Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mrs. Cobbins has been on this Christian journey for a long time, exhibiting characteristics as one with a quiet and demure spirit, but for the past 10 years, walking faithfully by the side of her husband, she’s rapidly being transformed into an “outspoken, radical for Christ”.
First Lady Cobbins also exemplifies all of the characteristics of a virtuous woman and a chosen vessel of God. She has the heart and compassion for operating “outside the box” by helping to meet the spiritual needs of women from every walk of life. She ministers to hurting ladies in several women’s shelters throughout the community, reaches out to the families of children with long-term illnesses, works with the adopt-a-family ministry, the evangelistic ministry as well as being the Director of the Virtuous & Victorious Women’s Ministry at Canaan Worship Center where she encourages, supports, trains and teaches women how to walk in unity with one another and with the Lord and also to empower one another using the Word as the blueprint for accomplishing all of this.
As Mrs. Cobbins continues undertaking the challenges God has placed before her, she’s ever mindful of her obligations of being a helpmate to her husband and their five children; Teesha, A.J., Darron (Shanna), Tia and Tiauana as well as their grand daughter Taylor.
Proverbs 31:10 – “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies”.
